Giancarlo Tancredi
Deputy Mayor for Urban Regeneration MUNICIPALITY OF MILAN
Giancarlo Tancredi was born in Milan in 16.09.1961. He holds a Degree in Architecture.
He has always been involved in urban planning and design within the Municipality of Milan, with special expertise in the most important and complex urban projects of the city. Just to mention a few: the Porta Nuova area; the Portello area; City Life; Expo 2015 site and MIND (the new Expo area); the Milano Darsena (dockyard); the dismissed railway yards; the Santa Giulia District and the Stadium area.
The professional experience he has gained throughout the years encompasses various themes that are at the core of urban regeneration and of the implementation of the Territory Governance Plan.
